Scanner Troubleshooting
If the scanner does not scan, check the following items before contacting a Honeywell
technical representative.
If the scanner is taken offsheet at the scanner with the scanner control buttons, the
scanner status on the Experion MX operator station is offline and not offsheet
scanning must be initiated at the scanner again with the scanner control buttons.
The scanner may just be standardizing or running a reference procedure. Check the
scanner status on the Experion MX operator display.
Check the operator station alarms. There may be a hardware alarm message
indicating why the scanner won’t scan.
If a crash switch has been activated, the scanner won’t scan. It may be necessary to
move the scanner heads off the crash switch. Use both hands, one on each head
(upper and lower).
