There are two types of labels used that relate to grounding safety: Equipotential (see
Figure 37), and Earth (see Figure 38).

Grounding is required for safety and reliable operation of the electrical subsystems.
Before power is connected to the scanner, a safety ground should be terminated to the
scanner (see Figure 39).
