CD Loading Procedures
The procedure for loading and unloading CDs in the HP3416A drive depends on whether the drive has been
mounted horizontally or vertically.
CD Loading/Unloading in the Horizontal Mount Position
Horizontal Mount Loading
1. Press the Eject Button (refer to Figure 8-61). The CD
tray will slide out of the drive. Note the position of the
front retaining tabs (A, B) and rear retaining tabs (C,D)
2. Snap the front retaining tabls (A, B) toward the front of
the CD tray.
3. Snap the rear retaining tabs (C,D) toward the rear of the
CD tray.
4. Place the CD in the CD tray.
