The 1820
- 0788 (Figure 4 - 34) consists of six positive - edge - triggered D flip - flops. Infor -
mation at the D inputs is transferred to the Q outputs on the positive - going edge of the clock
pulse. Clock triggering occurs
at a particular voltage level and is not directly related to the
transition time of the positive
- going pulse. When the clock input is at either the high or low level,
the
D input has no effect on the output. A low input to pin 1 resets all Q outputs to low.
