Step 2. To set up the equipment

Turn on the test equipment and the logic analyzer. Let them warm up
for 30 minutes if you have not already done so.

Set the time mark generator for a mark output of 100 ns.

Press
Autoscale
on the oscilloscope.
If you are not using an HP 54600-Series oscilloscope, adjust the oscilloscope
to achieve the best waveform display.

Measure the high and low output levels (in dc volts) of the mark
generator by reading them from the oscilloscope display.
You will need these values when setting the threshold level for the logic
analyzer.
