FUNCTIONS FOR RECEIVE
■ Noise reduction
The noise reduction function reduces random noise
components and enhances desired signals which are
buried in noise. The DSP does the random noise re-
duction function.
[NR] for main
[NR] control for sub[NR] control for main
[NR] for sub
q Push the [NR] to turn the noise reduction ON.
 •[NR]indicatorabovetheirswitchlightsgreen.
w Rotate the [NR] control to adjust the noise reduction
level.
e Push the [NR] switch to turn the noise reduction
OFF.
 •[NR]indicatorlightsoff.
Deep rotation of the [NR] control results in audio
signal masking or distortion. Set the [NR] control for
maximum readability.
■ Dial lock function
[LOCK] indicator for main
[LOCK] for sub[LOCK] for main
[LOCK] indicator for sub
The dial lock function prevents frequency changes by
accidental movement of the tuning dial. The lock func-
tion electronically locks the dial.
➥ Push [LOCK] to toggle the dial lock function ON or
OFF.
