■ Changing the file name
The file name, saved in the memory device, can be re-
named from the transceiver as desired.

[F-7•WIDE]/[F-7•CANCEL]
[F-3•Z][F-2•Y]
[EXIT/SET]
q During setting save screen display, hold down
[F-1•DIR/FILE]toselectthememorydevice.
wPush[F-1•DIR/FILE]toselecttreeviewscreen.
 •Push[F-2•Y]or[F-3•Z] to select the desired folder.
 •“DECODE,”“SETTING”and“VOICE”foldersareavail-
able as the default.
 •Afterthefolderisselected,holddown[F-2•Ω ≈] for 1
second to display content folder(s), if available.
ePush[F-1•DIR/FILE]toselectfilelistscreen.
rPush[F-2•Y]or[F-3•Z] to select the desired file.
tPush[F-5•REN/DEL]momentarilytoselectthefile
name edit condition.
y Push [ABC], [123] or [Symbol] to select the charac-
ter group, then rotate the main dial to select the
character.

  •Push[F-1•Ω]tomovethecursorleft,push[F-2•≈] to

acterandpush[F-4•SPACE]toinsertaspace.
 •Pushingthetransceiver’skeypad,[0]–[9],canalsoenter
numerals.
u Push [EXIT/SET] to set the file name.
