6. Select “Comm Frequency.”
7. Select a communication frequency, or “Manual
Input.”
(Example: SHIP 2M)
NOTE: When you select “Manual Input” in
this step, push the keypad to manually enter a
communication frequency.
8. Send an Individual call.
9. After sending, “Waiting for ACK” is displayed.
10. When receiving the acknowledgement:
• Alarm sounds.
• The following window is displayed.
(Example: ACK (Able))
Push any [Alarm Off] .
11. Push any [Close Call RCVD Window] .
12. Hold down [PTT] to communicate.
13. Push [Standby Mode] to return to the
Standby mode.
