• Saves the entered call sign and returns to the “MY CALL
SIGN” screen.
• See “Convenient” below if you want to enter a note.
Touch the entered call sign. o
• Sets the call sign to be used as MY call sign.

• Closes the “MY CALL SIGN” screen.
Convenient! ✓
If desired, enter a note of up to 4 characters, such as
the model of the transceiver, name, area name, and so
on, after your call sign.
Touch [ q ] one or more times until the cursor moves
to the right of the “/”.
Repeat steps w t and y on the page 6-5 to enter a 4
character note.
