Using the 1/4 in. open-ended wrench, turn the nut 1/4 turn (90°) past the point
where the ferrule first starts to grab the tubing. The amount of force required can
vary considerably due to the friction between the nut and the treads and the
composition and wall thickness of the tubing used.

Put the 5/16 in. Swagelok nut (PN 059-0696) and the 1/16 in. ferrule set (PN
059-0697) on the other end of the sample tube.

Insert the 1/16 in. sample tubing with the Swagelok fittings onto the instrument
sample inlet.
