Font Card
This is a CompactFlash memory card loaded with fonts. With a
Font Card installed, the user gets access to double-byte font sets
including Kanji, Korean and Chinese.
CompactFlash Protection Plate
The protection plate encloses an inserted CompactFlash card and
makes it more difficult to steal. See Chapter 3 for illustration.
Can be installed by the operator.
RFID Kit
The EasyCoder PM4i can be equipped with the capability to read
and write data to labels fitted with RFID (Radio Frequency
IDentification) inlays. RFID Kits come either factory installed or
as a field-installable option.
Special Printheads
As standard, the printer is fitted with an 8 dots/mm (203.2 dots/
in) thermal printhead. There are also a number of optional
printheads for special applications. The printhead can easily be
replaced or exchanged by the operator as described in Chapter
11.
