Steering Stem
Remove:
-- Rem
ove handlebar cover (→ 2-3)
-- Remove
store box
cover (→ 2-8)
-- Rem
ove
front cover asse
mbly
(→ 2-8)
--Front wheel (→8-2)
Disconnect
handlebar switch connector
Hammer the holder of steering stem flat with a
flat screwdriver and hammer
Remove:
-- Bolt 1 and Bolt 2
--Steering stem bushing
--Cotter pin
--Tie-rod nut and washer
Press down steering tie-rod and separate from
steering stem
Remove fixing bolt of steering stem
Lift steering stem with handlebar from vehicle.
Installation:
Reverse the removal procedure for installation
NOTE:
Check steering after installation (3-3)
Main cables and wires shall be routed
properly (chapter 1)
