Front Panel Reference
Display and Assist Keys
Dual View
Available on B2902A and B2912A. The upper half is for channel 1. The lower half
is for channel 2. Each area displays the measurement results, source and
measurement settings, and channel status. Most setup parameters can be edited on
this display.
Display area 1. Channel number. 1 or 2.
2. Latest measurement data
3. Over voltage/current status indicator (OV or OC, red)
4. High capacitance mode indicator (HC)
5. Remote sensing (4-wire connection) status indicator
6. Source function. VOLTS or AMPS.
7. Source shape indicator. DC, pulse, sweep, or pulsed sweep. DC does not show
the indicator.
8. Source output value, 5½ digit resolution on B2902A, and 6½ digit resolution on
B2912A
9. Limit (Compliance) value. See “Display Preference dialog box” on page 4-51 to
set the V/I Limit for Each Polarity.
D1. Primary measurement data. Turns orange if the data exceeds the Limit value.
D2. Secondary measurement data. Turns orange if the data exceeds the Limit value.
For the limit test, D2 displays PASS or FAIL instead of the measurement data.
