List Sweep
List Sweep
The list sweep function is effective for performing an arbitrary waveform output.
The source/measure unit (SMU) can apply the waveform as shown in Figure 6-4,
and measure voltage or current at each output value. The source output and the
measurement can be performed in the following minimum interval.
• B2901A/B2902A: 20 s
• B2911A/B2912A: 10 s
The source output and measurement timing is controlled by the trigger system. And
the interval can be set to a constant value if the trigger type is set to TIMER.
To set these trigger parameters, see “Trigger parameters” on page 4-17. The interval
can be set by the Period parameter. The number of output values can be set by the
Count parameter.
To set the source output values, use the List Sweep dialog box. See “List sweep
setup” on page 4-14.
Figure 6-4 shows an example setup of the List Sweep dialog box with an image of
the output waveform.
