To Execute Measurement

4. When MANUAL is specified, the aperture time setup field and PLC setup field

are displayed. Enter and fix a value in either of the fields to set the measurement

time.

To Set Measurement Range

For details on this function, see “Ranging Mode” on page 6-4 and “Range

parameters” on page 4-12.

1. Press the View key to display the Single view. If the Range parameters are not

displayed, press the Hide XXXX assist key.

2. Move the field pointer to the Measure Volts (voltage measurement range),

Measure Amps (current measurement range), or Measure Ohms (resistance

measurement range) field.

3. Press the rotary knob to change the pointer status to EDIT.

4. Press AUTO to set the auto range operation or FIXED to set the fixed range

operation. The pointer status is changed to MOVE.

5. Move the field pointer to the range value setup field (on the right side of the

Measure Volts, Measure Amps, or Measure Ohms field).

6. Press the rotary knob to change the pointer status to EDIT.

7. Press an assist key to set the following value.

For the auto range operation: Minimum range of the range operation

For the fixed range operation: Range used for measurement

To Perform Sweep Measurement

1. Press the View key to display the Single view.

2. Set the source function (see “To Set Source Output Mode” on page 5-13).

3. Set the Source value and Limit (Compliance) value (see “To Apply DC

Voltage/Current” and “To Set Limit (Compliance) Value” on page 5-13).

4. Set the measurement mode (see “To Set Measurement Mode” on page 5-23).

5. Set the sweep source (see “To Set Sweep Output” on page 5-15).

6. Press the View key to display the Graph view.

7. Press the On/Off switch for channel 1 or 2 (Ch1 or Ch2).
