Front Panel Operations
To Use Functions other than Measurement
To Perform Self-Test
1. Press the On/Off switch and confirm that the switch is turned off.
2. Disconnect test leads and cables from the channel terminals.
3. Press the More > System > Cal/Test > Self-Test function keys.
The Confirmation dialog box opens.
4. Press OK to perform the self-test. To cancel the operation, press the
Cancel/Local key.
To Perform Self-Calibration
The self-calibration must be performed after warming-up of 60 minutes.
1. Press the On/Off switch and confirm that the switch is turned off.
2. Disconnect test leads and cables from the channel terminals.
3. Press the More > System > Cal/Test > Self-Cal function keys.
The Confirmation dialog box opens.
4. Press OK to perform the self-calibration. To cancel the operation, press the
Cancel/Local key.
To Set Operations at Power On
1. Press the More > System > More > Start-up function keys.
The System Start-up dialog box opens.
2. See “Start-up” on page 4-53 to set each parameter.
To Display Error Message
1. Press the More > System > Error function keys.
2. Press Log.
The error message is displayed in the Error Log dialog box.
3. Press OK to close the dialog box.
