Stores a relative value in the multimeter's dB Relative Register, which is used for the dB function in CALCu-
late:SCALe:FUNCtion. When the dB function is enabled, this value is subtracted from each voltage meas-
urement after the measurement is converted to dBm.

Enable dB scaling with a -10 dB reference and a 300 Ω dBm reference resistance:

l Specifying a reference value disables automatic reference selection (CALCu-
late:SCALe:REFerence:AUTO OFF).
l The dB relative value parameter is relative to the dBm reference resistance set with CALCu-
late:SCALe:DBM:REFerence.
l The instrument sets the reference value to 0.0 with automatic reference selection enabled after a Fact-
ory Reset (*RST), an Instrument Preset (SYSTem:PRESet), or a change in measurement function.
