Installation notes:
• Make sure to replace the spring when replacing the HVPS.
• There are two types of spring forces on the cartridge contacts. Make sure to put the springs in their
appropriate slots and in the proper orientation as shown below.
High-voltage power supply (HVPS) cable removal
1. Remove the top cover assembly. See “Top cover assembly removal” on page 4-44.
2. Disconnect the cable connector at JHVPS1 (A) on the system board, and extract the cable through the
opening (B) in the frame.
