Top access cover springs removal
If the cover will not open
Lift the top access cover as far as you can, slip the spring hook into the opening between the top access cover
and the side cover, hook the link, and pull on the link to open the top access cover.
Replacing the right spring
1.
Open the top access cover.
Note: If the top access cover will not open, see “If the cover will not open” on page 4-171.
2. With a spring hook, remove the right spring from the link.
Note: Depending on the orientation of the spring, the spring will attach from either the inside or the ouside.
