menu > Disable scanner.
From there, select Enabled to change the settings to re‑enable the
scanner module and then save the setting.
POR the MPF to operating mode. Try running a copy from the ADF

flatbed.

POR the printer, open the scanner cover, and do the following:
• Check if the scanner carriage moves away, and then back to its
home position.
• Check if the CCD lamp illuminates.
• Check if Ready appears on the control panel.
