WhenSCANNERissettoON,

scanner.Thisistheusualmodeof

(STBY)
Staticicon,indicatingthatthe
scannerisonbutnottransmitting,
andtheantennaisnotrotating.
Thescannerdoesnottransmitand
theradardataisremovedfromthe
screen.Thisisapower-savemode
usedwhentheradarisnotneeded
forshorttimeperiods.When
youreturntotransmitmode,the
magnetrondoesnotneedtowarm
upagain.Thisisthedefaultmode.
OffScannerpoweredoffwhenradar
notrequired,butdisplayisinuse
forotherapplications,suchasthe
chart.Whenselected,thesystem
countsdown.Duringthistimeyou
cannotre-powerthescanner.
