Please read the safety precautions described at the beginning of this manual
before handling the following devices
The barrel is loaded from the rear of the bar-feeder.
Procedure :
C Advance the protective hood (A)
• Raise the rear stop (B)
• If necessary, swing down the rear protection (C)
C Insert the bars (D) into the barrel
C Lower the limiter, while making sure that it is in contact with all the bars that are
in the barrel. If necessary, move the bars back.
If there is an obstacle (wall, machine, etc.) which prevents loading from the rear, the bar-
feeder will have to be fitted with a retractable foot so that the barrel can be loaded from
the front (see Item 5).
1.4 Hybrid barrel (option)
The Hybrid barrels comprise two different diameters of guidance tubes.
The procedure for passing from one working diameter to another is given in the Start-up
Manual.
