• Linear, sound is linear and non interrupted in full scale range
• Digital positive, same as for Linear positive, only frequency is not changing linear but
with larger steps
• Digital negative, invert function to Digital positive
• Linear positive only, sound is present only at positive values, for negative values there
is silence (this function is available only from the LX8000 vario unit)
• Digital positive only, same function as for linear positive only, only the sound sounds
is similar to the digital tone. (this function is available only from the LX8000 vario unit)

SC audio mode has four modes:
• SC positive, Sound is interrupted with a silence every few milliseconds when needle is
positive, on negative side sound is linear (not interrupted)
• SC negative, inverted function to SC positive
• SC, sound is linear and non interrupted in full scale range
• SC Mixed, for positive netto values sound represents netto, for negative netto values
sound represents SC
Freq at 0% defines tone frequency at 0m/s
Freq at +100% defines tone frequency at full + deflection
Freq at -100% defines tone frequency at full - deflection
5.1.7.2 Voice
LX Voice Module is a LX system bus participant and receives data and power via bus. Voice
module is 100% controlled through LX8000 after use of settings described in this menu.
On voice setting menu volume level (loudness) of voice module and mixing level between
voice and vario sound can be adjusted. In message window each item can be set separately.
Only checked items will be posted to voice module.
5.1.7.3 Alarms
The unit produces an audio alarm on reaching certain confirmation points. This screen allows
the parameters of the audio to be configured. With checking of particular message item
LX8000 will generate an alarm at the time of event. To avoid repeating alarms for the same
event, delay for next alarm of the same type can be set in Don't warn me for next
control.
