Compared to LX7007 there is no option to declare a task. There is one and only
task. This task is going to be automatically declared in IGC file on take off. Task
can also be modified during flight, but changes are not going to be written to IGC
file.
There are three methods to create task at the moment. More methods will be available in
future releases.
• Read waypoint and task file from SD card and load saved task.
• Load similar task and modify it.
• Enter task manually.
Check task. It is very important to check task. Check turning points sequence,
distance between points, bearings and total task distance, Check visually task and
observation zones geometry in map view,
7.1.5.1 Assigned Area Tasks (AAT)
Assigned area task is in fact a speed task where the task distance is not exactly defined. Pilot
has limited influence on task geometry due to bigger observation zones (assigned areas)
Pilot decides how deep he will fly into individual area to reach best average task speed and
finishing task not earlier as designated task time.
Assigned area task has same structure as whichever other task and all known methods to
enter are the same as described. The only differences are bigger observation zones having
specific geometry. Use ZONE button (see chapter 5.7.3) to modify individual observation
zone.
