• When pilot is flying in lot of different locations. A separate profile for each location can
be created. (Example: France, Spain, Namibia, WGC2008)
Active profile is selected, when LX8000 is powered on. (See chapter 7.1.2)
Use this dialog to add new profile, delete profile, change name for existing profile and
activate. Active profile is profile which is currently being used.
Press EDIT button and Edit profile dialog will open.
Profile can be also made read-only. This option is very useful for club operation where one
does not want a global club profile to be changed too much.
5.1.13 Hardware
Options in this menu should be set only once. This menu is dedicated to setting of hardware
properties like Total energy compensation, LCD indicators layout, compass calibration,
FLARM module settings and NMEA output.
5.1.13.1 Vario settings
All settings in this menu are related to glider.
