8 Installation
The LX8000 digital unit is installed in an aperture 93.5mm width and 81.5mm height
The LX8000 vario unit and any additional vario indicators need a standard 57mm cut-out
each.
Three pressure connectors are fitted to the back of the LX8000 vario unit. A label shows
their functions.

and Static are connected the wrong way around, there will be no
integrator reading (average climb) during the flight.
The LX8000 digital unit is connected to 12 Volt power via the 15-pin SUB-D connector. LX
8000 digital unit and LX8000 VARIO UNIT (57 mm units are connected via the RS485 bus
and the connectors are marked like 1-1.
