5.4 Statistics mode
Statistics mode operates in two different ways. During flying statistical data for flight in
progress is shown and on ground logbook for all stored flights is shown.
5.4.1 Logbook
If SD card or USB stick is inserted into LX8000, user can copy selected flight to SD card or
USB stick. Select desired flight using bottom-right knob then press appropriate button.
Flight is automatically copied to SD card and/or USB stick, if it is inserted in
LX8000, when message Calculating security is displayed. This message appears
when landing conditions are met.
You can also delete flight, using Files and Transfer menu (See chapter 5.1.5.6)
5.4.2 Statistics during flight
Using bottom-right knob user can change statistics page. There are three pages available:
• Flight statistics, gives data for whole flight. Distance flown is optimized distance. XC
speed is average speed corrected for altitude difference. Average vario is used in this
calculation
• Task statistics, gives data for started task. Distance flown is distance that has already
been flown on task.
• Last 60 minutes statistics, gives data for last 60minutes of flight. If task was started then
distance is distance flown on task for last hour, otherwise it is optimized distance. If task
distance is used a remark (on task) is drawn in heading row.
