5.6 Waypoint mode
Waypoint mode is very similar to airport mode. In this mode user can navigate to waypoints
stored in selected files. Additional to the options in airport mode, there are two additional
options. Edit waypoint and new waypoint.

Mc/Bal will set MacCready, ballast and bugs, See chapter 5.5.5.2 for more details.
Select option is used to select waypoint for new navigational target.
Edit button will edit data for selected point.
New button will add new point. New point can be copied also from LX navigation Airports
database,
Map item is used quickly to change and modify map parameters
Rot.FAI will rotate FAI area, if it is enabled. If it is not enabled, this option is not shown.
Wind will open dialog, where wind changes with altitude are shown, wind can set and
methods for wind calculation are shown.
Airspace shows list of airspace zones in vicinity of our position
Event is used to log an event. Recording rate will be increased to 1 second for one
minute.
Off will switch of instrument. Message LX8000 switching off will be displayed.
5.6.1 Editing waypoint
Press edit button. Edit dialog will be open with details of selected waypoint.
Modify attributes at your discretion. When finished, press CLOSE button. Modified waypoint
will be updated in appropriate file automatically.
5.6.2 New waypoint
Select this option, if you want to add new waypoint to active waypoint file. If no waypoint
file is selected, new waypoint file will be created with name default.cup. A message, copy
from airport is displayed first. Press YES, if you would like to copy it from LX navigation
