5.1.10.1 Airspace warnings
Airspace warnings are the most complex ones. Airspace warning is activated by two triggers:
First warning (orange) will be given when a projected position of flight for period, which is
defined in Time item, is computed to cross airspace zone.
Second warning (red) will be raised when a projected position of flight is computed to cross
airspace zone and glider is already in the buffer zone in vertical or horizontal direction. Buffer
zones are defined in Horz.buffer item and Vert.buffer item. Default values are 1km for
horizontal buffer and 100m for vertical buffer.
First warning (orange) will also be given when you enter airspace zone buffer but projection
of flight is computed to cross it.
Airspace warning will be raised in all modes and dialogs. Warning for alarmed zone can be
dismissed for whole day, 10minutes or just quit. Quit means that message will disappear.
However alarmed zone will still be filled with transparent red color and outlined with a thick
line and also distance to nearest point of airspace zone will be shown.
RESET button will reset status for all airspace zones.
5.1.10.2 Altitude warning
Altitude warning will be enabled if Show warning is checked. Altitude is given in MSL.
Projection is calculated based on 20 second average vertical speed and time, which is
defined in Time item.
If projected altitude is greater then set altitude, altitude warning will be raised. Altitude
warning will be raised in all modes and dialogs, same as for airspace warnings.
