5.5 Separate steering

(A) – For driving around corners
• Steer the 6th axle line in the opposite direc-
tion to the 1st to 2nd axle line.
The other axle lines are steered to suit the
turning radius.
(B) – For crab travel mode
• Steer the 6th axle line in the same direction
as the 1st to 2nd axle line.
The other axle lines are always steered in the
same direction.
Automatic
• Steer the 1st to 2nd axle line with the steering wheel.
(A) – when driving around corners
The further axle lines are steered out in line
with the turning radius, and with or against the
steering angle on the 1st to 2nd axle line.
(B) – for crab travel mode
The further axle lines are steered in the same
direction as the 1st to 2nd axle lines.
