10.2 Starting the engine – with the hand-held control
Prerequisites You can only start the engine for crane operation if
– The bridging plug is inserted in all unneeded sockets;
à p. 10 - 8 and
– The ignition in the driver's cab is switched off.
Starting the
engine
All checks required before starting the engine must be carried out;
à p. 10 - 1.
• Wait until the lamps (1) and (2) illuminate.
If the lamp (2) does not go on or flash after approx. 20 seconds, there is a
malfunction;
à p. 14 - 24.
Press the (3) button once – the engine starts.

If the hand-held control is connected to the superstructure, you cannot drive
the power units from the crane cab.
