4.4. Function of the Control Panel Elements
Display
The display (panel) serves to show the printer’s status messages.
ON LINE - LED (integrated in the START/STOP key)
The printer is ready to receive data from the host
(the printer is ON LINE).
The printer is not ready to receive data from the host (OFF LINE).
The control panel keys are active.
DATA - LED
ACTIVE
The printer receives printable data.
The printer’s input buffer contains printable data and the controller waits
for further data.
There are no printable data in the input buffer.
ERROR - LED
FAULT
An error occurred in the printer. The printer is OFF LINE.
No error occurring.
