Foamtank
1.Addfoamconcentrateonlytothefoamerunittank
throughthefoamertanklid(3).Thefoamerwillauto-
maticallymixtheconcentratewithwaterfromtherinse
watertankduringapplication.Makesurethefoamer
watersupplyshutoffvalve(4)locatedundertherinse
watertankisopen.
2.Anadjustmentknob(1)andpressuregauge(2)ispro-
videdonthefoamerunit/tanktoregulatethepressure
ofthefoamingsystem.Increasingthepressurewillre-
sultindryerfoam.
NOTE:Thelterelementinthestrainer(5)undertherinse
watertankmayrequireperiodiccleaning,dependingon
conditionofthewaterinsidetherinsetank.Cleanasnec-
essary.

3.Ifhardwaterisaproblem,commercialsoftening
agentsareavailable.Youcanmakeyourownsoften-
ingagentbydissolvingacommercialwatersoftening
powder(availableinmostgrocerystores)inhotwater
andaddingaportionofthismixturetoyourtankeach
timeyoull.Experimentationwillrevealthecorrect
amounttouse.Agoodstartingpointis44.4mL
(1.5USoz)pergallonofwater.
4.Heat,humidity,windandcropcoverwillalsoaffectthe
lifeoffoam.Usingagoodqualitymarkingagent,such
as“Goodmark”maybeveryimportant.
NOTE:Alwayscompletelyrinsethefoamsystembefore
changingbrandsoffoammarkingconcentrate.
NOTE:Goodmarkpremiumlife,“hotweather”foamcon-
centratehasuptoonehourlifeincoolerweather,20–
40mininhotweatherandhasgoodhardwatertolerance.
