Safetystopsinstalled
Safetystops(1)fortheboomliftcylinderspreventthe
boomfromloweringduringtransportorduringextended
periodsofstorage.Theyarelocatedonthetwoliftcylin-
dersonthefrontofthevehicle.Securebothofthemin
placewiththepin(2)onthecylinderrods(3).Besurethe
stopispositionedwiththearrowpointingtowardtherod
endmountandthetabistothebottomsideoftheclevis.
NOTE:Alwaysusealaddertoremoveorinstallthesafety
stops.

Storage
Whenthecylinderliftstops(1)arenotinuse,theyshould
bepinned(2)tothestoragebracketsontheinsidesurface
oftheupperliftarms(4).Usethetopsurfacecenterhole
topininplace.Placethestopontothebracketfromthe
topside,lineuptheholesandinsertthepin.Clipthepin
inplace(3).
