1.Openthelowerengineaccesscover.
2.Thesecondaryfuellter(1)ismountedontherearof
theengine.
Disconnectthewireharnessconnector(2)tothesec-
ondaryfuellter.

3.Placeanappropriatecontainerunderthelter.Use
alterwrenchandturntheltercounterclockwiseas
viewedfromthebottom,inordertoloosen.Remove
theprimaryfuellteranddisposeofproperly.
NOTICE:Donotusealerwrenchtotightenthelter,damagetothegasketandtheltercouldresult.
4.Installanewlter.Applyclearoilorgreasetothegas-
ketonthenewlter.Turnthelterclockwiseasviewed
fromthebottomuntiltheltergasketcomesincontact
withthelterhead.Useyourhandtotighten1/2turn.
Togetacorrectseal,loosenlterandagaintighten1/2
to3/4turnafterthegasketcomesincontactwiththe
lterhead.
5.Connectthewireconnectortothesecondaryfuellter.
