ontheboomswivelwhichpivotsintheeventthatthe
boomaccidentallyhitsanobstruction.
1.Tightenthenutsonthethreadedeyebolt(2)tojustget
theslackoutofthespring.Measurethelengthofthe
threadedsectionoftheeyeboltwhichprotrudespast
themountingbracket.
2.Add0.750intothedimensionyoujustmeasured.
Tightenthenutuntilthethreadedportionoftheeyebolt
protrudesthroughthemountingbracketbythisnew
dimension.Thissetsthepreloadofthespringtothe
correctamount.
3.Runthesecondnutuptotherstnutandtightenthem
togethertolocktheadjustment.
