Operate’warningtagtothemachineinanareathatwill
bevisible.
Hazardouschemicals
Ifyouareexposedtoorcomeincontactwithhazardous
chemicalsyoucanbeseriouslyinjured.Theuids,lu-
bricants,paints,adhesives,coolant,etc.requiredforthe
functionofyourmachinecanbehazardous.Theymay
beattractiveandharmfultodomesticanimalsaswellas
humans.
MaterialSafetyDataSheets(MSDS)provideinformation
aboutthechemicalsubstanceswithinaproduct,safe
handlingandstorageprocedures,rstaidmeasuresand
procedurestobetakenintheeventofaspilloraccidental
release.MSDSareavailablefromyourdealer.
BeforeyouserviceyourmachinechecktheMSDSfor
eachlubricant,uid,etc.usedinthismachine.Thisin-
formationindicatestheassociatedrisksandwillhelpyou
servicethemachinesafely.Followtheinformationinthe
MSDS,onmanufacturercontainers,aswellastheinfor-
mationinthismanualwhenservicingthemachine.
Disposeofalluids,lters,andcontainersinanenviron-
mentallysafemanneraccordingtolocallawsandregula-
tions.Checkwithlocalenvironmentalandrecyclingcen-
tersoryourdealerforcorrectdisposalinformation.
Storeuidsandltersinaccordancewithlocallawsand
regulations.Useonlyappropriatecontainersforthestor-
ageofchemicalsorpetrochemicalsubstances.
Keepoutofreachorchildrenorotherunauthorizedper-
sons.
Additionalprecautionsarerequiredforappliedchemi-
cals.Obtaincompleteinformationfromthemanufacturer
ordistributorofthechemicalsbeforeusingthem.
Utilitysafety
Whendiggingorusingground-engagingequipment,be
awareofburiedcablesandotherservices.Contactyour
localutilitiesorauthorities,asappropriatetodetermine
thelocationsofservices.
Makesurethemachinehassufcientclearancetopass
inalldirections.Payspecialattentiontooverheadpower
linesandhangingobstacles.Highvoltagelinesmayre-
quiresignicantclearanceforsafety.Contactlocalau-
thoritiesorutilitiestoobtainsafeclearancedistancesfrom
highvoltagepowerlines.
Retractraisedorextendedcomponents,ifnecessary.
Removeorlowerradioantennasorotheraccessories.
Shouldacontactbetweenthemachineandanelectric
powersourceoccur,thefollowingprecautionsmustbe
taken:

Stopthemachinemovementimmediately.

Applytheparkbrake,stoptheengine,andremovethe
key.

Checkifyoucansafelyleavethecaboryouractualpo-
sitionwithoutcontactwithelectricalwires.Ifnot,stay
inyourpositionandcallforhelp.Ifyoucanleaveyour
positionwithouttouchinglines,jumpclearofthema-
chinetomakesureyoudonotmakecontactwiththe
groundandthemachineatthesametime.
