Directioncontrolandtravelspeedfunctions
Inadditiontotheboomcontrolbuttons,thejoystickis
alsousedtocontroldirectionoftravelaswellasspeed
oftravel.
ToStarttheengine:thethreefollowingconditionsmust
bemet:
1.Thejoystickmustbeintheneutralposition.
2.Theparkingbrakemustbeset.
3.Theoperatormustbeseatedintheoperator’sseat.
Beforethemachineisallowedmoveforwardorreverse,
thefollowingstepsmustbecompleted:
1.TurnignitionswitchtotheONposition.(Theengine
mustalsoberunning)
2.Placethejoystickintheneutralposition.
3.Disengagethevehicleparkbrake..
4.Pressbrakepedaltofulltravelandrelease.
NOTE:Thesestepsmustbecompletedeachtimethe
ignitionswitchisturnedtotheSTOPposition.

ToMoveForward:Fromthecenter(Neutral)position(1)
pushthejoystickforward(2)tomoveforward.Pushing
thejoystickfurtherforwardalsoincreasesthetravelspeed
withinthatrange.Pushingthejoystickfullforwardwilltake
thespeeduptothepresetspeedinthatrange.Pushing
thejoystickhalfwaywilltakethespeeduptohalfofthe
presetspeedinthatrange.Dependinghowfaryoupush
thejoystickforwardwilldeterminehowfastthevehiclewill
moveinthatrange.
ToMoveinReverse:Fromthecenter(Neutral)position
pullthejoystickbackward(3)tomoveinreverse.Pulling
thejoystickfurtherbackwardalsoincreasesthetravel
speeduptoapresetspeedof8km/h(5mph).Ifthe
rangespeedsettingselectedislessthan8km/h(5mph),
thereversespeedwillbelimitedtothelowerrangespeed.
