8.3 Agent Usage Calculation
CAUTION: Agent calculation has an accuracy of +/- 25% and therefore should only
be used for administrative purposes and not for making clinical
decisions.
The A7 can calculate the usage of the agents when configured with an internal AG module. The
agent usage displays on the screen in Standby mode. The agent usage accumulates from 0 when
the A7 exits the Standby mode. When A7 enters Standby, the agent usage stops accumulating. If
the A7 restarts within not more than 60s after accidental power failure, when the case is not ended,
the anesthetic agent usage will continue accumulating until the A7 enters Standby mode.
