9.3 Upgrade via USB Drive
Create the UPGRADE_AMP folder under the root directory of the USB drive.
Create the Avatar sub-folder under the UPGRADE_AMP folder.
Place the Avatar_Installer.pkg file and software upgrade package under the Avatar folder. Note:
Before upgrading the high-flow O2 supply assembly, enable high-flow O2 supply (the flowmeter
backlight is on).
Insert the USB drive in the machine and turn on the machine. When the system displays the USB
upgrade screen, click OK Enter to start the upgrade.
After the upgrade is completed, restart the machine for the upgrade to take effect.
9.4 Test After Upgrade
After upgrading the software, enter the Setup-> System->Information menu and check the
optional features on the machine are same as the record before upgrading the software.
