6.3.12 Vaporizer Injector Calibration (Service) (A9 Only)
6.3.12.1 Principles
Insert the electronic vaporizer in standard equipment with an AG module meeting the accuracy
requirement. Measure the anesthetic concentration of the mixed gas produced by the electronic
vaporizer and electronic flowmeter. Calibrate the amount of anesthetic agent injected by the
electronic vaporizer injector each time combined based on the fresh gas flow.
Perform the vaporizer injector calibration when the output concentration of
vaporizer exceeds the accuracy specification.
A Mindray AG module is required for this calibration.
The external AG must be calibrated with standard gas before doing vaporizer
injector calibration, refer 6.3.10 External AG Calibration (User).
After performing vaporizer injector calibration, the vaporizer should be checked
by a calibrated gas tester.
6.3.12.2 Calibration Procedure
Perform the following steps to calibrate the vaporizer injector.
1. The external AG must be calibrated with standard gas, refer 6.3.10 External AG Calibration
(User).
2. Enter the standby mode.
