If your Mitel IP Phone isn't ringing, it could be due to the sound being off, the ring volume being set to silent, or a defect with the handset. Try long-pressing the Sound off key, increasing the volume, or contacting your system administrator.

maciasjeffreyAug 26, 2025
If your Mitel IP Phone's display is blank, it could be due to several reasons: the battery level might be low, so try charging the battery. Alternatively, the screen saver might be set to 'Black also in call'; you can change this setting. If neither of these solutions works, the handset might be defective, and you should contact your system administrator.

Why can't I subscribe my Mitel IP Phone using Easy Registration?
E
Eric CarrAug 30, 2025
If you're unable to subscribe your Mitel IP Phone using the Easy Registration feature, it could be due to several reasons. The handset might already be subscribed to a system, in which case you should unsubscribe it first and then subscribe it again. Alternatively, the IP-DECT system might not be configured for Easy Registration, so try subscribing the handset manually. Finally, there might be ambient equipment disturbing your IP-DECT system, so try subscribing the handset in another area of your building. If the problem still exists, restart your handset and subscribe the handset.

Why does my Mitel IP Phone beep once a minute and display 'No System'?
G
gabriellasmithSep 3, 2025
If your Mitel IP Phone beeps once a minute and displays 'No System', it indicates that the handset is out of coverage or is defective. Stop the beep with the Sound off key and go into range. Note: When re-entering the coverage area it can take a couple of minutes before the handset automatically has registered into the system. Another possible cause is that the IP-DECT wireless connection point is overloaded with too many calls.

Why does my Mitel IP Phone say 'Not allowed'?
W
wanda99Sep 8, 2025
If your Mitel IP Phone displays 'Not allowed', it could be due to several reasons related to the shared phone functionality: another handset is currently using the same extension, you're using an incorrect password (AC code) to logout, the extension (User) does not exist, or the password you entered is incorrect. Logout from the handset that uses the same extension. Enter #11*# on the keypad and press the off-hook key to logout from the shared phone. Make sure that you entered correct extension and password. Ask the system administrator if you have forgot the password.
