ADDITIONAL FEATURES PREFERRED LINE AND PREFERRED LINE TIMEOUT
NOTE:
1. If you specify a value of 0 for the Preferred Line parameter, it disables the preferred line focus feature.
2. If you specify a value of 0 for the Preferred Line Timeout parameter, the phonereturns the line to the
preferred line immediately.
PHONE FEATURE PREFERRED LINE BEHAVIOR
Last Call Return The phone switches back to the focused line
immediately after the call ends.
Speeddial The line is already specified when the speed dial
is created. The phoneswitches back immediately
after the call ends.
Conference For incoming calls, the phone switches back
immediately after the call ends.
Transfer For incoming or outgoing calls, the current
behavior is that the same lineused to transfer the
call does not change. For incoming calls, the
phoneswitches back immediately after the call
transfers.
Park The phone switches back immediately after the
call ends.
Voicemail The phone switches back immediately after the
call ends.
Redial The phone switches back immediately after the
call ends.
Dialing For incomplete dialing on a non-preferred line,
the focus does not change ifsome digits are
entered.
If no digits are entered or digits were cleared, the
focus changes to preferredline after the time out
has passed without activities.
Caller ID If the Switch UI Focus To Ringing Line parameter
is disabled, the User isable to see the Caller ID
when the phone switches the focus to the
ringingline.
Factory Default Factory default and recovery mode clears the
preferred line and preferredline timeout
parameters, and the phone operates in a
non-preferred linemode.
