4 AUXILIARY AND APPLIED FUNCTIONS
4.11 Mixed Operation Cycle Function

When advanced synchronous control input axis and output axis have different control
operation cycles
When input axis is operation cycle, and output axis is low speed operation cycle
The movement amount sent to the output axis is calculated based on the input axis calculation for the operation cycle at the
start of the low speed operation cycle (the cycle when "Operation cycle counter (SD717)" is 1).
When input axis is low speed operation cycle, and output axis is operation cycle
The movement amount sent to the output axis is calculated by getting the input axis calculation of the low speed operation
cycle at the operation cycle of the start of the low speed operation cycle (the cycle when "Operation cycle counter (SD717)" is
1). For this reason, the input value sent to the output axis is only updated once for the low speed operation cycle magnification
setting, and the output axis also operates once for the low speed operation cycle magnification setting.
When the control cycles of the input axis and output axis are different, and performing operations that
repeatedly change "[Md.400] Current value after composite main shaft gear (R: D39120+32n, D39121+32n/Q:
D13600+30n, D13601+30n)" with the input axis, be sure to make these operations after the low speed
operation cycle has passed. If repeatedly performing these operations in the low speed operation cycle,
"[Md.400] Current value after composite main shaft gear" may not change.
Using high-speed input request signal on axes controlling at low speed operation cycle
When using a high-speed input request signal on an axis controlling at low speed operation cycle for mark detection,
advanced synchronous control clutch etc., make sure to set the high-speed input request signal control cycle setting of the
applicable high-speed input request signal to "low speed operation cycle".
If the high-speed input request signal is used with setting as "operation cycle", the ON/OFF of the high-speed input request
signal cannot be detected at the low speed Motion operation cycle.
If a high-speed input request signal setting with a cycle that does not match the cycle set in mark detection, synchronous
encoder axis, or advanced synchronous control clutch control has been set, an error occurs.
Refer to high-speed input request signal setting for high-speed input request signal control cycle setting. (Page 96 High-
speed input request signal setting)

The movement amount for operating the output axis is calculated from the difference
between the input axis calculation at the cycle when "operation cycle counter"
became 1, and the previous cycle when "operation cycle counter" became 1.

when the "operation cycle repeat counter" becomes 1.
