5 FUNCTIONS USED WITH SSCNET COMMUNICATION
5.7 Connection of Sensing Module
• When feedback pulse input is "invalid", if the home position return data "Home position return request
setting in pulse conversion unit" is set to "1: Home position return request not ON during servo OFF", follow-
up is not performed and "[St.1069] Home position return request (R: M32409+32n/Q: M2409+20n)" does
not turn ON, causing a position discrepancy to occur. In this case, make sure to set "Home position return
request setting in pulse conversion unit" to "0: Home position return request ON during servo OFF".
• When a time shorter than the sensing pulse I/O module parameter "Clear signal output pulse width time
(PB12)" is set in "Standby time after clear signal output in pulse conversion unit", the time set to "Clear
signal output pulse width time (PB12)" is used.
• When feedback pulse input is "valid" and position does not settle within the "Standby time after clear signal
output in pulse conversion unit", the home position return may be completed with a position discrepancy
between the current position and feedback position. In this case, set the "Standby time after clear signal
output in pulse conversion unit" to match the position settling time of the home position return operation.
■Servo OFF
• When the feedback pulse input setting of the sensing pulse I/O module is invalid, do not rotate the motor during servo OFF.
Rotating the motor will create a position discrepancy.
• After completing home position return, if "Home position return request setting in pulse conversion unit" is "0: Home
position return request ON during servo OFF", "[St.1069] Home position return request (R: M32409+32n/Q: M2409+20n)"
turns ON at a servo OFF state. After turning servo ON, perform a home position return operation again.
■Servo instructions
• Speed control () (VVF instruction, VVR instruction) cannot be used.
• If the VVF instruction or VVR instruction are started, a minor error (error code: 19EBH) occurs.
■Current value history monitor
The multi-revolution counter and position within a single revolution of the current value history monitor are not updated.
■Optional data monitor setting
The following shows data types that can be set.
Set the data so that the total number of communication points per axis is no more than 6 points.
• Registered monitor
*1 Set an even number for the address ID of registered monitor.
*2 Depending on the feedback pulse input setting of the sensing pulse I/O module, the monitor values are as follows.
*3 The "Cumulative current value" is a command value for the servo amplifier. All other data types are servo amplifier monitor values
(feedback).
*4 Position commands are positioning units set in [Motion control parameter] [Axis setting parameter] "Fixed parameter" "Unit
setting".
