■Installing the add-on library after purchasing a license
The procedure for writing the license key at the same time of installing the add-on library, after purchasing a license, is shown
below.

Connect the personal computer and
Motion CPU.
Insert USB dongle in personal computer.
If a license is purchased, a USB license key (USB dongle with
license information) is supplied.

Purchase the add-on library license.
START
License key
generation/
writing, and
add-on

installation
Confirmation
of license
authentication
Read the serial No. (production information) of the connected
Motion CPU, and generate the license key.
Startup the system, and operate the
add-on library.
Refer to the add-on library instruction manual.
Perform the following in MT
Developer2.

• Select add-on library.
• Generate license key.
• Write the add-on library and license
key to the Motion CPU.
Check that the license authentication
information screen in MT Developer2
is "Authentication complete".

Turn ON the power supply of Multiple
CPU system.
Put the Motion CPU in installation mode.
Set the Motion CPU rotary switch to "A".

In the transfer setup, set the connection
(communication) method for the
personal computer and Multiple CPU
system.
Turn OFF the power supply of Multiple
CPU system.
Put the Motion CPU in normal mode.
Set the Motion CPU rotary switch to "0".
