1.1.4 Features of Redundant CPU
The features specific to the Redundant CPU are described below.
(1) Supporting redundant system in addition to the Process CPU functions
(a) Redundant system using Redundant CPU
Using the Redundant CPUs, the whole system including a base unit, a power
supply module and a CPU module (Redundant CPU) can be doubled.
Since the standby system takes over the control even if a failure occurs in the
control system, a highly reliable system can be created.
