7.6 Profile Management Configuration
The AP-6511 has mechanisms to allow/deny management access to the network for separate interfaces and
protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, Telnet, SSH or SNMP). These management access configurations can be applied
strategically to profiles as resource permissions dictate.
Additionally, an administrator can define a profile with unique configuration file and device firmware
upgrade support.
To define a profile’s management configuration:
1. Select the Configuration tab from the Web UI.
2. Select Profiles from the Configuration tab.
3. Either select Add if creating a new profile or Edit if modifying the configuration on an existing profile.
4. Select Management.
5. Expand the Management menu item to display additional Settings, Firmware and Heartbeat
Management options.
6. Select Settings from the Management menu.
