8.1 Important Notes
Please, read the following notes carefully before installing your FP0.
Notes
Avoid installing the unit in the following locations:
– Ambient temperatures outside the range of 0°C to
55°C/32°F to 131°F
– Ambient humidity outside the range of 30% to 85% RH
– Sudden temperature changes causing condensation
– Inflammable or corrosive gases
– Excessive airborne dust or metal particles
– Benzine, paint thinner, alcohol or other organic
solvents or strong alkaline solutions such as
ammonia or caustic soda
– Excessive vibration or shock
– Direct sunlight
– Water in any form including spray or mist
Avoid noise interference from the following items:
– Influence from power transmission lines, high voltage
equipment, power cables, power equipment, radio
transmitters, or any other equipment that would
generate high switching surges
– If noise occurs in the power supply line even after the
above countermeasures are taken, it is recommended
to supply power through an insolated transformer,
noise filter, or the like.
Measures regarding heat discharge
– Always install the unit orientated with the tool port
facing outward on the bottom in order to prevent the
generation of heat.
