10.Install new fuel rail mounting fasteners

. Hand-
tighten the fasteners evenly. Once both fasteners are
seated, torque to specification.
TORQUE
Fuel Rail Fasteners:
First Pass: 5 ft-lbs (6.5 N·m)
Second Pass: 15 ft-lbs (20 N·m)
11. Reconnect the fuel return
q
and supply
w
quick-
disconnect fittings. Wipe away any spilled fuel using a
clean shop towel. Firmly pull on each hose
connection to verify the hoses are secured.
IMPORTANT
Do not apply excessive pressure to fuel fittings or clips.
Verify proper operation of the fitting and clip by lightly
pulling on fitting to ensure it is secure before completing
repair.
12.Re-install the throttle body. See throttle body
installation.
TORQUE
Throttle Body Gear Clamps:
11 in-lbs (1.24 Nm)
NOTICE
Ensure the clamps are properly oriented. See
Component Orientation Views page 3.52.
13.Secure the fuel injector wire leads to the throttle body
with new cable ties

14.Reinstall the air box assembly. Tighten air box-to-
throttle body gear clamps

to specification.
TORQUE
Air Box Throttle Body Gear Clamps:
11 in-lbs (1.24 Nm)
